two posts in one day ?? amazing !!

Just remembered that there was some stuff I wanted to blog about ..

I just started 2 new bank accounts, I'll rip the info shamelessly from another site:


Citibank Online Cash Manager
- 5.25% pa interest, calculated daily
- No minimum balance
- No account-keeping or minimum balance fees
- Withdrawals: 2 free withdrawals per month. Additional ones are $2 each.
- Debit card available

HSBC Online Savings Account
- 4.5% pa interest, calculated daily (or 0.5% pa for balances under $2000)
- No minimum balance. Require $2000 to open account
- No account-keeping or minimum balance fees
- No apparent withdrawal fees
- Debit card available: unlimited transactions from HSBC ATMs, 5 free transactions per month at any other ATM
- Cheque book option available


They're pretty good because the interest is alot higher than the account I have now (Bankwest student account), and apparently I will have to pay for the student account after I graduate. So it'll be nice to have free accounts while I can find a job to make some money :p It took me awhile to fill out the forms though, so boring :(

I still want to get an iPod, but .... should I wait for the next generation?? Damn ... I'll hold on to my money for now ... this one will have a colour screen >_< I bet it will cost heaps of money ... but for now my plan is to get a 3rd generation iPod and some Senheisser headphones .. or maybe some in ear ones (forgot the brand, but I don't have money for Etymotic ones yet..)

I was really impressed by the Butterfly Effect - walked in expecting it to be crap, but then it was really good !! Alot of people agree with me too ... just watch it, it's quite 'fun' :) One of the best movies I can remember seeing!
