I think I want to work at a big firm too :) But I can't work at a law firm, what firm would take me? From previous experience, not a consulting one -_-;;

big weekend
Yeah, it was a big weekend .. especially for me and Steven :) The ACM contest he's talking about is the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest ... we were in the South Pacific Regional Finals ... our team name was 'I <3 China' :D But noone understood it -_-
So close to getting a prize !! But I guess it's our fault for sleeping so late the night before .... AGAIN ... actually last time I didn't sleep at all :P
Why do I always wake up late? -_-;;
Nothing much else been happening .. oh, I forgot - DO NOT WATCH 'THE VILLAGE' ... the biggest letdown movie I've seen for awhile. What a boring movie ... hyped up but in the end was just a tryhard period movie ... I *hate* that period of time too .. bleh. What a waste of money!

Quick one
Hello,
I don't have much to say actually. I am waiting for a 4 hour download, so thought I might aswell write sometihng, since I can't do anything else. Had super busy weekend.
MSU Ball on Friday, Hana's Birthday on Saturday, Charis' Birthday on Sunday. All involved late nights (and a lot of money). I think each of those nights I got home about 4AM. Not as hardcore as I used to be (clubbing until 6AM), but for someone my age I think that's quite bad. -_-
Actually, compared to the other guys, I didn't spend that much money. :P One of us were out by nearly $1k. That's crazy.
Then I was sick on Monday and Tuesday, so didn't go to work. Now I need to catch-up, so the stress is back. Life is back to normal, it seems. :(
Oh, on Saturday Ray and I went to the ACM Programming Competition. We came 5th in the state, which I am quite happy with. One short of becoming a runner-up, but oh well. I think we did good considering we went through 6 hours of programming, despite sleeping around 4AM the night before. :P
Okay, time for dinner. Steamboat. Yum. :P
Chill out yo,
Steven

Feeling so lazy just want to wear t-shirt and shorts and go to the beach :D

sleeeeeeeepy ...
Woohoo !!
:)
Anyway ...
Didn't sleep ... didn't manage to get any thesis draft work done either -_-;; But at least a big chunk of project is done .. code at least. Not expecting anymore big changes (maybe one or two), it's time to concentrate on writing ..
At about 5am I had the pleasant surprise that I don't have MS Project installed. I thought that I remember doing some Gantt charts at home ... it doesn't matter, I'll go to uni now.
If I can sleep before dinner it would be great -_-;;

funny :)
Did you see the Google things to the right over there ...
There are some funny ones :) Like the one about raccoon repellent ... it is like an automated scarecrow! It has a motion sensor and it sprays the animal when it 'sees' it .. hardcore huh?
Arrgh tonight looks like a no sleep night ...
If I can be bothered I will post later :P

Keep'in it real
Looks like the guys are starting to write now, so I will write some too. :P
But not a lot... I am going to sleep soon. Need to finish my dissertation soon. That is a bit scary. I have I get my 15,000 words done in time. Contemplating doing post-grad studies... might as well live with the measly $25k p.a. now, rather than later, that's my reasoning. :)
I was reading about the origins of blogs yesterday, and it turns out the word "blog" comes from "web log". I am thinking, who is the idiot we decided it would be cooler to call it blog, rather than web log. Like sure, it sounds nice now because we're used to it, but it sounds super gay by itself, imo.
Cool things suck.
Using what we've learnt, let's start calling clubbing, bbing. Yeah, that's cool... !
How about dating can now be ting. COOL MAN!~

Lots of honours work to do ... eep. >_<
Been abit quiet otherwise :P Maybe because I haven't been going out much .. Asia Cocktail coming up soon, great! And lots of stuff due soon, not so great.
Kim bought some crap from EBay, what a hardcore ... Von Dutch cap and some jeans?
I'm planning to buy some speakers soon, digital Boston Acoustics ones ... hope they're good :)
Anyway uni time!

sle-ee-epy ...
What up in the house ??
Feeling really sleepy .. last night was up late doing HCI assignment :) When I say 'up late' .. I really mean that I started at 2am ;) And went right through to about 9:30am ... then I thought I'd have a nap before going to uni to hand it in ... next thing I knew, it's 5:30 because I didn't hear the alarm ... >_< grr ...
Hrmm, what else have I been doing ... nothing much really.
Updated my fotopic webpage with more photos ... http://immature.fotopic.net if anyone is interested :D
Thesis draft is due in a month, oh no ! Should be ok though, getting through the work .. hope that I'm fast enough ... but I guess I have some sleepless nights to look forward to :D
Been playing Doom3, but can't seem to get super into it .. it's quite good, scary, but I just can't seem to play for more than say .. 30mins at a time. Maybe I'm just getting ADD as I'm getting old :P Tried to play some WC3 too, played some 3corr .... it's ok I guess, not as fun as I remember.
Doyle's birthday on Saturday was fun :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOYLE ... hrmm, just realised that I should have taken some pics, totally forgot :\ Oh well .. next time I guess :)
Not really sure what to write now .. this was just a really random update O_o

phew, exams not so bad after all :)
Exam results came out ... seems like I did inversely well to what was expected O_o Distinction for Communication Systems 325, which I was pretty sure I got max ~60% on. And then a Credit for Software Quality and Measurement 400 - isn't that the stuff that I should be better at? Oh well :p At least I didn't fail CS325, would have been a bitch to do the unit again, AND stay back an extra semester to do it :)
Anyway ... what has been going on in Perth over the last few months since I posted ... nothing !! :) Steven seemed to be quite unsatisified with the Sizzler dinner we had the other week, as was I ... expensive man >_< But at least I stuffed myself full of food :p Kim's been going to the gym with us, I wonder if we're going tomorrow :) I've been busy at work on my project ... if only I could figure out this euler angle thing, it would make it really easy -_- But anyway ...
Not sure what else to say :P Friendster got updated, using php instead of jsp now ... still as slow as ever ;) Gmail is pretty cool, but haven't really publicised the address to people, so I don't have that much mail there. Only one more semester of uni, SICK MATE :) But this semester will be pretty hard ... and what am I saying, I don't really want to leave uni anyway, I can't live in the real world :p Heheh ...
Spiderman 2 was pretty good, I was quite entertained :)
I'll post later, my sister rented out Ferris Bueller's Day Out (spelling from Google -_-) DVD, and I wanted to watch it :)
Then time to work on project a little .. :)
Would have made more of the things links, but I can't remember if posts use some sort of proprietary tag, or normal a href ... lazy to check too :P The 'link' button isn't working ...
3 weeks of studying one subject really paid off !!! And one overnight session of studying the other unit didn't pay off at all :P
p.s. back with hana :p

It's alive, damn youuuu!~
Hi,
It's been awhile seen someone posted, hey? Well all of us have been busy with real lives, and I'm no exception. Sorry, I don't have time to spend incesscant hours making interesting photo's and writing about exciting adventures in my life. If you think about, it's all a rather sad attempt of clawing for your attention (we all want it, admit it). See how loved you are? :)
So what have I been up to then? Well the number one time killer is my final year project. I'm working on an underwater acoustic simulator. This is a fancy way of describing a program that can create the kind of sounds you would hear underwater. It's actually for a company called Nautronix, who use it in the testing and development of their various projects/products (there is an interesting difference there...).
To some, this might sound all a bit dull to spend a whole year on. Well, to be honest, I initially didn't think underwater sound would be all that exciting either, but like many things, after you put a lot of effort into something, it tends to grow on you. :) There are *plenty* of weird stuff that happens to sound in water, that a typical air-breathing person wouldn't imagine. All these complications makes the problem that much more challenging (or interesting, for others). But I won't bore you with that stuff. After all, there are many, other avenues of mass-communication where I could talk about this, and the crowd would be much more appreciative. :P
But to sum it all up, that's my life lately. Project, project, project. Before that was exams, but I only had two, and they weren't too difficult, compared to this. And if I do end up failing one of them... oh well, I can always assure myself that it was because I was doing this project. -_-
Hmmm... I didn't mean to write so much about project, and this entry is becoming quite large already. I guess I will need to cut out some of the other topics I was planning on writing about.
Well, yesterday morning, I watched some near-overdue DVD I found lying around the house: The Italian Job. (I only just BARELY-MANAGED to remember to return it that night. Actually, I chucked it into their after-hours chute - not sure if that's still counted as "on time". I doubt it - those money suckers!) I thought it would just be another typical, unoriginal action film, which I don't really mind watching, but I was a bit surprised. The storyline deviated a bit more from the typical formula, which is a BIG, BIG plus for me (I really HATE mainstream - but I could discuss that forever, so I'll just save it for next time :P). Actually, I think I have given this movie more credit then it really deserves; it's good, that's it. Not super great, or phenomonally original... just a nice, pleasant view.
One unusual part was at the ending, during one of the explosion scenes. It was at a crowded street, and so - naturally - there were people running around like mad. For a split-second during that scene, I could of sworn I saw a poorly-dressed SPIDERMAN run in front of the camera... that was pretty funny. :P To this day (which is only like a day or something), I wonder if they did that purposely as some kind of hidden, easter-egg humour.
Ironically, I watched Spiderman 2 that night, too! :) First we went to Sizzlers, but only because Hana had never tried it before, I think. Of all the possible dining venues to choose, I don't think any of us would have come up with that. :) When we were there, I was reminiscing the last time I went there, and my choice of meal then. The meal I would of chosen then happened to be the Kid's Meal Fish 'n' Chips, so that should give you an idea of how long it has been since. :D
The salad bar soup did not dissappoint, as usual. It seems my childhood tastes are still with me. I think Sizzlers cheat with cornflour to make them thicker. I should ask Audwin one day - he used to work there. :P He told me their "secret" to cooking a steak. Apparently, they just fry it just enough to make the top and bottom surfaces look cooked (i.e. just as it turns brown), and then... chuck it in the microwave for thirty minutes. Thanks to the wonders of microwave technology, the insides gets cooked this way. Of course, the end result is something less than sub-standard... it just looks "neat" (i.e. not too many burn marks, not torn etc.). Sherman proved this true when he tried out the steak he had ordered.
The spaghetti bolognaise was also bland. My sister makes better than that, but then again, her spaghetti is quite good, in the first place. :) Next time you have a chance (I doubt you will), grab the privalege and try some of it... yummy. :P~
Man, why am I talking so much about food? I'm not even fat. -_- Must be because it's getting "late" - 11PM. When it's late... I write a lot of crap. My old-school, high-school buddies would know about that. :P Anyway, since I am working full-time right now, I need to wake up early. It's the holidays, and there's no uni, and I need to make money for my super-holiday at end of year in over three countries! That's something else I can talk about next time. :) But because of work, I need to wake up early, hence also sleep early. Actually, I only need to be awake by 8:30AM, but that's very, very, much earlier than what time I usually wake up. -_-
ANYWAY, what was I talking about before? Sizzlers right? Well okay, I think I've talked enough about that. In general, it was shit. Don't go there, please. Take your girlfriend somewhere nicer, like Black Tom's. :P I was very surprised there were SO MANY COUPLES THERE! WHY?!?!?!? It's not very romantic... full of kids and family scavenging through the all-you-can-eat. Okay, that was quite harsh, I apologise for saying that. But come on, Sizzlers is not the premier spot to go on romantic, candle-lit dates. Sheesh, if *I* know that, then it must be super-obvious!!! o_O
Speaking of girlfriend, Adeline went overseas recently for two and a half weeks. This is partly why I have time to write this blog entry, I guess. This is another topic I can go on about, but I don't want to make you all too depressed. :(
So after Sizzlers, it was time for the main event: Spiderman 2! I had actually seen it already, so wasn't keen on paying another $9.50 for a movie I had already watched. It's a good movie, but I'm not the type that feels the need to watch a good movie twice (hence why I don't even buy DVD's... $30 for a one-time view? No thanks.). So instead, I snuck in, hehehe. I think it is best I keep the "plan" to myself, in case it becomes too wide-spread and known, that I won't be able to use it anymore. So I watched it for free, which was more enjoyable than usual, for a second time viewing. :P If I *did* end up needing to pay for a ticket though, I would of wanted to watch Harry Potter 3. Even if it's by myself, I'm not the type to really care about that insignificant fact. :P I'm not a Potter fan and I haven't read the books (my sister has the whole collection though... well what's out so far). I don't think Rowling is an extraordinarily original author, either. She might be writing a popular and enjoyable story, but original? No. Down-on-luck kid entering a secret school of magic, AND discovering he has inherent magical powers more powerful than anything seen before? Come on. It's fundamentally a children's book anyway, so I guess it deserves the credit it gets. :)
But the reason I would want to watch the movie is because I heard good things about it, like being "the best of the three". Despite the poor CG (computer graphics) sequences? I was interested to investigate. :P (Shut up, I feel like using that word.)
Crap, I seem to like going off on complete tangents everytime I try to talk about a certain topic, don't I?
Spiderman 2, the second time, was still good. I wasn't as stunned and gripped by the movie this time. Like the more surprising sections didn't grab me anymore, because - obviously - I knew what was going to happen. :P A review on Slashdot gave it 9.2 / 10. Now, coming from them, that is ASTOUNDING. Slashdot are the biggest bunch of critical dickheads, ever. They're nerds, after all (much like me). :P So to see that rating for a mainstream movie like Spiderman 2 was very out of the ordinary.
But after watching it the first time, I could see why. This is my theory...
Peter Parker is an absolute NERD. The Slashdot reviewer must of felt a special link with the way this character was treated: the way he was pushed-around, weak, but intellectually-talented. And then to see him transform into the epitomy of athletic ability like that, must of truly touched that deep, well-hidden desire, inside the reviewer. Nerds might denounce the need for brute strength and size in today's modern society ("you just need money and you can have everything"), but in the end they are only human-beings. And every human mind (maybe just the males), on the primal level wishes for it. :P Maybe one day we will put our petty moral issues aside, and self-engineer ourselves to rid of such illogical thought... but it won't be anytime soon. Doesn't bother me really; I like living in ignorance, much like the rest of the human race. :)
It's getting later and later, and my ramblings are getting more and more strange. Sorry for that.
Like I usually say, I will probably regret some things said here. But oh well, as many people know, I try not to give a shit. :P
Have a good one,
The Glutinous Riceball

two posts in one day ?? amazing !!
Just remembered that there was some stuff I wanted to blog about ..
I just started 2 new bank accounts, I'll rip the info shamelessly from another site:
Citibank Online Cash Manager
- 5.25% pa interest, calculated daily
- No minimum balance
- No account-keeping or minimum balance fees
- Withdrawals: 2 free withdrawals per month. Additional ones are $2 each.
- Debit card available
HSBC Online Savings Account
- 4.5% pa interest, calculated daily (or 0.5% pa for balances under $2000)
- No minimum balance. Require $2000 to open account
- No account-keeping or minimum balance fees
- No apparent withdrawal fees
- Debit card available: unlimited transactions from HSBC ATMs, 5 free transactions per month at any other ATM
- Cheque book option available
They're pretty good because the interest is alot higher than the account I have now (Bankwest student account), and apparently I will have to pay for the student account after I graduate. So it'll be nice to have free accounts while I can find a job to make some money :p It took me awhile to fill out the forms though, so boring :(
I still want to get an iPod, but .... should I wait for the next generation?? Damn ... I'll hold on to my money for now ... this one will have a colour screen >_< I bet it will cost heaps of money ... but for now my plan is to get a 3rd generation iPod and some Senheisser headphones .. or maybe some in ear ones (forgot the brand, but I don't have money for Etymotic ones yet..)
These clothes are pretty cool, but would you wear them .. ?
My favourite album of the moment! Love L'Arc lately, and this album is soooo good :D
I was really impressed by the Butterfly Effect - walked in expecting it to be crap, but then it was really good !! Alot of people agree with me too ... just watch it, it's quite 'fun' :) One of the best movies I can remember seeing!

Back From The Dead
Haven't written in a long time, and Ray has been bugging me to, so here I am! :P Just going to write something quick before I finish work.
My harddrive at home died... just as Ray thought it would. :P
Do not buy a hardrive with these specs: Western Digital 80GB, 8MB cache, 7200RPM
Ray's died in less than a week. Mine died in around three months. I think that's enough statistical evidence that's it a shit house harddrive? Ray might have more links on the 'net from other people complaining too. :P
It cost me $45 just to ship it to Singapore. The warranty thing said it requires a tracking number... so I had to choose super-special (and exp) mailing method. That's like one third the original cost of the harddrive already. :( Ah well... I'll probably just get another of the same model harddrive back, but I am going to buy new 80GB and then link them together on RAID for super backup/durability/speed goodness. :P Linux Volume Management rocks!
I lost:
* Pictures I coloured. I still have the original drawings in my drawing books though, so guess I can always atleast re-scan.
* Passwords (yeah, I'm a bit lame and pointless for writing out my passwords on text files... oh well :P). Most of them I can easily retrieve again, anyway - just a bit of a nuisance. LUCKILY the important ones are safely in my brain. :D
Things I had backed up
* All my stupid programs I made (they were stored on my wicked Subversion repository.
* All my music
I would of prefered losing all 4GB of my music and those programs than the stuff I really did lose. :(
Oh well... clean slate now. :D

so tired ... uni time :p
Haven't posted on here for so long ... not that I forgot or anything, but just didn't know what to write :) Been really lazy lately, oh well.
Didn't do much, but I can see that the last post I wrote was when I finished work ?? That was a long time ago ... had a bbq that night O_o It was alright ... I think there are some pics on my photos website :P Hehe :)
I can't really remember what I did between then ... I'll try trace it back.
Weekend just past was Luke's 21st birthday party ... one of our friend from highschool. Was quite fun, we drank quite abit ... then we went to Music Space, where apparently we drank the rest of Kim's Chivas - I can't really remember this part, but it was fun (I think :) Yesterday had abit of hangover the whole day .. went to Ads' house to watch movies ... they were ok I guess :P
What have I been doing lately ... played quite abit of o2jam, it's a music game kindof like Beatmania - abit bored of it lately though, it's either too easy or insanely hard -_- But it passes the time :P
Hrmm .. what else did we do ... we went to Mandurah 2 weeks ago, 11 of us ... here are some photos - it was fun :) The weekend after that, went to Mandurah again ... I think I've had enough of Mandurah for a while :P What did we do there ? Umm ... drinking I guess ... caught some crabs the first time, I cooked up some steaks ... something different from Music Space 24/7 :)
A few of us went to Julian's place and watched Infernal Affairs 3 last weekend, hmm ... I didn't really like it >_< Maybe because I forgot what happened in Infernal Affairs 1, I didn't watch number 2, and was abit hungover ... also I was sleepy :) But that was kindof fun.
My uni is already looking sucks ... my unit with 3 lectures has clashes for the first 2 - I don't want to do this unit, so I'm kindof leaning more towards the CS units to go to lectures ... I think this unit is the hardest though :\ I hate EE department ... bleh >_<
Oh !! Just remembered from the photos that I took that night, a few weekends ago we went to Music Space - had so much alcohol that it was scary. The worst offender was the bottle of Bacardi 151 that they bought - it's 75% alcohol ... just thinking about it makes me feel sick x_x I didn't get that sick that night, but ... hrmm .... I think the happenings of that night are not really for public consumption :P Anyway, if you were there, then you prob know what happened. Lately there is alot of dramas happening ... but come to think of it, dramas always happen :) I guess that we are just troublemakers.

long time no see ^_^;;
I wonder why noone posted for ages ? Kim is back already ! :P
Anyway ... what to say ... hrmm ..
Phone is fun ! Kindof ... still getting used to it. I'll post about .. hmm, I wonder what ? I'll talk about what I did this weekend then :P I'll think of something.
Anyway, on Friday I had work ... woohoo :P Actually can't even remember what I did that day ... but it was sleepy. I went home abit early I think. Then ... what did I do ? We went to Belgian Beer cafe on King St. Had a beer, then we watched this japanese movie .. 'Uzumaki', omg what a crappy movie. So disappointed >_< I'll find a better movie soon, I hope. There is a korean movie I want to watch !! The name is .. err .. 'Tale of Two Sisters' I think ? Anyone seen it? It sounds scary :P
Anyway, saturday woke up late, then we went to ads' house to watch Summer Snow :D What a wicked drama :P Hana's back ... heheh ;p But anyway, watched about half drama, then went home, sleep 'early' (2am) ... quietest Saturday night ever !!
Sunday we went iceskating in the 'morning' (1pm), went to Ben's house and waiting AGES for Karen and Cheng to come ... they were like 40 min late !! But we got there anyway ... Ed was another 30 min late than us :P And Yeh Woei another 30 min late after that haha :) Ahh they have some photos I think !! I'll try get some photos to post up maybe ... there were only like 8 or 9 of us there though, it wasn't that busy with our people ;P Cockburn kindof sucky as an iceskating place, but then again ... Mirrabooka is also dodgy ... oh well, I think I'm out of love with ice skating :P
After that we went to Ben's place to hang around ... dunno what everyone did ?? Watched some clips on Ben's computer, then I was lying around just bored ... rang up the place for dinner to make a booking (16 ppl !! luckily I overestimated O_o) Then somehow we all went to my place to watch movies, wow alot of ppl here. Ed bought a pizza because he was hungry ... we had one slice each haha ;p They were watching Pirates of Carribbean or something, then 'the convoy' left :P Speaking of which .... we had a train going from ice-skating to Ben's place (3 cars ?) But coming Ben's -> my place was more like 6 cars .. for 7 people :P We kill the environment !! Then the convoy went abit smaller :P There were 5 of us in Ben's car, and we went to dinner.
Nothing special I really can say about dinner? It was fun i guess ... my steak was quite nice. And we had stupid trouble with the money at the end x_x After that ... went to northbridge, gelares ... by then I was dead x_x needed to sleep for work the next day. So we all got into Ed's car (6 of us). So glad I wasn't sitting at the back ... sounds like Julian was having lots of fun ;p But Ben got out and into his own car, and we went home. Then I went to sleep :P
Yesterday just did work. Today work too. Same same :P
Really really want ipod !!! Miss my MD so much, trying to think of some sort of scheme to keep it, but I think it's inevitable .... I'll have to get the firewire card for my comp then :P Either that, or if the motherboard has USB 2.0 outputs, it'll be good too. But somehow ... I doubt it ..
What to get -_- 20 gig or 40 gig ... hrmmmm ... 40 gig sounds so appealing >_<
Oh !! L'Arc~en~Ciel released a new single !! It's good ... well, I like it anyway :P I had the PV a while back, but somehow having the mp3 is nice too :)
I wonder if this post was long O_o I had something else to write, but I forgot what it was -_-
Anyway ... what to say ...

All Done :P
after getting the opinions and suggestions of a few other racoon-hole-eans, i think the new colours are generally finished! personally, i cbf changing the template no more... is so slow on my slow modem. -_- one thing i think we would all like to do is put up some pictures, but haven't really figured out where to store it yet.
[For pang: geek talk]
ive been meaning to buy some webhosting accounts, but the one i was going to join fell through. they are such fags! i emailed them asking some questions, and the first reply was so fob (fresh of the boat - aka sounds really dum, and the english was very bad). i really liked their deal, so i emailed again tell them that was a really pathetic reply. but no reply. ah well fuck 'em. :D they were about US$10/month for 2.5GB webspace and 60GB traffic, so it is a pretty good deal. it OWNS the ones australian hosts offer, and is still a bit more better than the other ones in usa. but at this stage, i think i will just go to different, slightly more exp one.
[/geek talk]
we went to eat ice cream at gelato in subiaco last night. :P originally, sherman, ella, adeline and i were supposed to be super late, but even when we got there 1 hour or so late... pang and charis still hadn't come! they took ages~~~ all we could do was look at the icecream for ages, and not order yet. :( i decided not to be stingy for once, and bought adeline and i a $9.50 big cup 'o' chocolate icecream. charis said the strawberry one is not worth the money, so we didn't get that. i wanted to get it before because it's one of the two icecreams there that didn't have chocolate on it (adeline is allergic to it... heheheh). anyway, it was pretty nice! and we managed to finish our big one faster than everyone else's small cups. :P~~ we were still there at around 1am, but the girls needed their beauty sleep so had to go. :)
then went back to musicspace to get sherman's car. ella drove adeline home for me in sherman's car... so i stayed at musicspace. saved me the trouble of driving all the way back south and back again... hehehe (thanks ella... and sherman's car :P). edmund was drunk, and wanted me to drink, even though i had to drive later. -_- i decided one shot couldn't hurt, so sherman, ray, ed (i think? or kim i forgot) and i had a shot in one of the karaoke rooms. after it had gone down, sherman and i realised it was fucking tequila... OMG BAD MEMORIES!!! the puke-inducing aftertaste is so recognisable... -_- we didn't drink any more after that. :D then we did some bad singing until like 3am or something. for our finale, we sang some song called 'rape me' by nirvana o_O none of us have ever heard it before, so we were just 'freestylin' it - just sing and make up our own words. from the song title, i think you can imagine what sort of lyrics can be made up for it. :D but our RATING FOR THE SONG AT THE END WAS 100!!!!! YEAH BITCH!~~ natural freestylaa~~
after we realised it was so damn late, we went back to sherman's house to watch some fjdsklfjdsklfj ippo anime. it's a series about boxing... pretty good. -_- pang was complaining that we should just all sleep and watch it tomorrow morning. so it was quite ironic that after watching one episode, i was zzzzzz already. they kept watching heaps... i think they watched like 10 or something >_< fuck. i just remember hearing "black man!" "blackman!" during my sleep. hahaha so im guessing that's what happened... they guy prolly fighting a black boxer dude. -_-
a bit more happened afterwards... but not so important. let's just say my mobile rang at like 7am and woke us all up and i had to drive home. fuckk~~~~ i was so tired in the car. -_- i can't handle driving tired for shit. :( but luckily got home safetly.
i've been meaning to write about my surprise b'day party... but ive written so much in this blog again, so ill need to save it for next time.
PEACE OUT!

tired
Not in the best mood atm ... waiting to go out for dinner, I have nothing to do.
I didn't like Tom Cruise in that movie, it would have been 9/10 if it wasn't for Tom Cruise - it becomes a 7/10. But still recommended movie ...
Been addicted to this song for the last few days after watching the MTV ... wow.... such a nice song:
m-flo loves melody, & yamamoto ryohei - miss you

New colours
I changed template... but hopefully it hasn't shown up yet. If it does: DON'T WORRY STILL WORK IN PROGRESS LAH~ :P
Bobbbbb~~~~
Greetz peepz. I originally wanted to write a nice big blog... but after catching up on some other reading, I've run out of energy! It's 12:30am, and I have work tomorrow, so I can't waste too much valuable sleep time typing to a wall. :P
Just came back from watching The Last Samurai. A lot of people seem to think it was great, but there were a few areas in the movie I really didn't like. >_< Some movie "spoilers" follow, so go away if you're psycho about them.
What's up with the main character killing a guy and then kissing his wife afterwards?? Like I can understand if it was some central part of Japanese culture, but I don't think it is. I think it's more to do with giving what the mainstream wanted: "hot chicks need to be chased, and since the main character is cool, he should get her".
And when Katsumoto (something like that) kills himself for his honour, Tom Cruise should of done it, too! Why is he excused from it? I only got some vague line "you have your honour back" before the other person killed himself. It seems like this main character selectively chooses to take what he likes from the Japanese, and avoids the rest. There's all this talk about honour, but the movie doesn't really know what it is. I think honour is a double-edged blade... if you want to be all that, then you need to be prepared to throw your own interests away, too. The movie just skims over the latter part... which kind of pisses me off. Maybe it was short-sighted ideals like this that made men rush off to the World Wars. But perhaps it's this ignorance which gives everyone the morale to do things. After all, ignorance is bliss, right?
Anyway, I'll stop dissing it now - it's prolly doing more harm that good. :P It was an enjoyable movie, but my ethical side just doesn't like it when movies are bent to appeal to entertainment, as opposed to something meaningful. People need to make money, I guess. I'll only get angry if anyone says something like: "that movie taught me a lot about how life should be". Because it doesn't - it's just one big, unbelievable fiction. It oozes ego-centric motives: see how great I am, since I am fighting a pointless war.
I'll leave it at that. I am sure lots of people have different ideas to me. :)
Next post, I promise will be less cynical. :D
Chill, yo~

YO
hey its me again.. after yesterday.. i realise that going out drains ALL ur money.. like... REALLY FAST. It was early morning and i was bored.. so i decided to pickup my friend alex who lives in south perth foreshore.. then from his place we went to pickup zong from his place... in canning vale.. before that i filled up $10 of petrol. DNA lan centre was packed so we went back to zongs place to bum around.. and den kitana was bored so we picked her up too.. and went to carosuel to eat.. i ate MEE GORENG at that ASIAN store in food court (its shit dont eat there again.. warning) .. den ate MANGO SORBERT at gelare upstairs near the cinema.. that was nice... so far.. ive wasted like all my petrol + money.. den i had to drop kitana off back home coz she needed to goto cell group.. den we went to DNA to play... i bought 5 hours + a drink.. that was $14.. we played cs for 5 hrs.. iwas tired.. but den the day didnt stop there.. we went to pickup michelle in ranford.. and we went to gelare applecross.. where i saw marie wif her bf.(no good).. and like a fuk load of other asians.. like.. so many that there was no space inside.. and out side wa full too.. wif gangs of people just standing outside smoking and looking cool... i felt abit uncomfortable.. but its k.. we chit chat abit.. den went to macdonalds in on leech hwy... that was okay.. i just had a 50 cent cone.. den michelle's mum told her to go home.. so we took her home.. and den dropped zong home coz he was tired and already sleeping my car... and den finially droppd alex home... OH WAIT.. before i dropped michelle home first.. had to put another $10 petrol.. coz i was driving on empty again.. so all in all.. i wasted about.. $50 !?!? LOL.. its ALOT!~ ... anyway... came home and went to bed.. feeling exhausted.. but atleast had fun.. just trying to do whatever to get my mind off things.. hehe. now i only have $100 in my savings account.. gay.. i cant even buy my cool skate shoes anymore.. oh well.. IM DEFINATELY NOT DRINKING THIS WEEK.. no money ... i think i need a proper job now hehehe .. and umm.. today what did i do... i wasted $30 on buying a optus prepaid recharge card.. so i could call a special someone.. and that call made me feel good.. so its all good.. i hope... thats one thing i know.. should never lose hope! but just learn to accept things if they dont work out... its a new start to a new year.. so gotta change for the best.. this year im trying to be alot more mature about things.. act more adult like.. coz i relise man.. 21 this year.. and sometimes i think back from last year.. i react and do things like what a little kid would do.. hehe no good... getting old.. gotta act like like it also.. hehe apart from that, lifes so so for me.. nothing special.. nothing to be sad about. just be myself.. be normal :) lifes gonna get betta ehehe

links links links~ :)
Hi~
Just thought .. one of the things we use IRC for is to share links, so I'll share some of the current 'popular' links with everyone :)
This guy is like the Photoshop king or something .. Chu pasted it when I was at work, I was like wtf ... what a Photoshop genius ... never seen so good touchups before !!
My absolute favourite author of all time is Murakami Haruki ... I love all of his books :) One of my favourite of his short stories that I can find on the net is 'On seeing the 100% perfect girl one beautiful April morning', weird name I know, but it's very ... I'm not sure how to explain, but I really like it >_< Also, just finished reading one of his old novels; 'Pinball, 1973' - I feel as if his writing was better to begin with .... I really enjoyed this novel !! I wish I could find a paper copy ...
Everyone loves to do quizzes, and we are no exception :P Recently Tuyen pasted some 'How picky are you?' quiz, just alittle bit funny :P On a strange note ... I got the highest picky score ?? 55% I can't believe it .. but on second thoughts, I am pretty picky ;)
Apple iPod - should I buy one ??? Decisions decisions ... stupid MD >_<
I wonder why I started this post now :) Noone is really talking on IRC lately, so we don't have many links .. I will post some more up when we find some more.
Edit: I forgot about this cool link !! Check it out :p

okay this is my first post for the forum. hehe.. im not quite sure exactly what to say.. so ill just blabber.. or should i say 'blogger' on about random stuff that has happened to me the past few weeks. :P
since the start of the uni holidays, they have been pretty action packed for me.. alot has happened in the past 2 months or so. i was only expecting a nice relaxing 3 month hols.. but i guess it didnt turn out like that. hehe. i wouldnt say it is a bad thing or a good thing.. just suprising.. and im learning from it all.. so i guess that's okay :)
where to start... well i met this girl during exam time.. we really liked each other... was like a dream come true for me, but for some reason or the other, it slowed down and now im not sure where i still stand with her anymore. was feeling pretty low and blue.. but then my other friend who i talk to... shes really been helpin me through it.. someone who i've been taking out and having abit of fun with.. so its helping me get through it :D

sun is up .. woohoo
Hello all :)
If the time at the bottom doesn't show, it is about 6am now... just got home from Music Space. I will be happy if I don't sing for a while >_< Because I think I had MORE than my share of singing just then... sang so many songs in a row that my throat is really stuffed up. It's nice to have room 4 all to yourself :p Maybe like .. 4 of us ..
Anyway ... some weird stuff happened tonight, but I think that it's not something for public blog consumption. Suffice to say that it was abit of a fun night for us, not so fun for some others..
Ella's birthday was good because I chose the restaurant :) It wasn't too bad, it was kindof what I expected though. If I went next time, I would want to try spatchcock though. The name of the place was Yahachi, it's at Colanade (spelling?) on Hay St, Subiaco. If you want to, go try it out :P
Steven's birthday was fun, racoon-hole boys pulling out the FREESTYLE ... Pang said that it's rare for me to singing ? Well .. lately I've been practically living at Music Space, already worn off that - I sang more in the last month than I sang in my whole life i think O_o Crazy ...
Me and Kim ARE 1TYM !! hahaha :) 97 .. not bad ...
Hrmm, I'm really sick of 'A Whole New World' >_<
Come to think of it ... I'm sick of Tequilla, and of Jack Daniels.
Actually ... I wouldn't mind abit of Jack Daniels if it wasn't so strong :P
We just went to McDonalds on William St, I was feeling hungry. Still feel abit hungry, but really I cbf eating anymore - getting fat from too much beer. Had a nice kebab at that place opposite Church !! Will try out next time.
Maybe next week I go Church or Metro instead - less dramas ? O_o
Actually .. this week I won't mind not drinking :) Had way way enough I reckon ;)
Speaking of Friendster - if there's anyone reading this not on our lists, our Friendster webpages are to the right hand side, over there --> :P
I'm glad people are writing posts !! Pang is just a pessimist is all ....
Goodnight !!!! For a while -_-
If the time at the bottom doesn't show, it is about 6am now... just got home from Music Space.
I'm sick of Tequilla, and of Jack Daniels.

surprise !!!!
I guess the birthday surprise was a success :) It was a surprise for me that it worked out so well actually, considering that our plan was shaky at best. Steven and Ads taking their time coming from dinner probably helped us alot :)
I'm going to Music Space now, I'll post when I get back - possibly you might see a drunken post :P

Long time
It's been ages since I wrote. -_- I thought everyone else had stopped writing in it, too... but how wrong I was! The Adventures of Pang in Korea sound fun! I wouldn't mind going, but I think the fun will be cancelled by the the sadness of losing all my savings. :((( Maybe if I manage to save up heaps, and a trip to Korea (or wherever... Japan?) will only cost me 50% of my savings, I'll be OKAY with that. ^_^ Actually, just as Christmas break started, I wanted to call Ray and go to Melbourne with him, but I spent the first week playing computer games, and when I did get around to calling, he had already left. Hehehe :P That's me: the supergeek!
We went to a really wicked Japanese restauraunt for Ella's birthday last week. I really liked it there... well, the atmosphere atleast. The food was okay, but I got a toothache after I ate the entree`. My back tooth is weird, once something gets stuck in it, it starts to hurt a lot. -_- Well, not excruciating, but enough to ruin the rest of my meals. :( Anyway, the other reason I didn't like the food was because it was too Western-style for a Japanese restauraunt. It felt more like I was just at Frasier (dunno how to spell it), Meade, Black Tom's or one of those places, than a Matsuri, or Tansawa Tei. I know my restaurants! :D The food was good... just didn't suit what I was expecting I guess.
I'll still bring my family there sometime though... maybe this weekend.
Sherman paid for everything too, so I guess that makes it a bit better. Heheheheheh :P Not that I wouldn't help him pay if he asked... really, I would! :) The bill was much less than I expected though.
I got new monitor. But nothing special. I was expecting nicer... at 1600x1200, it is really crappy, even though it's still at 75Hz. I dunno. I guess 1600 doesn't suit a 19" monitor. It's not even flat. It's just a normal curved monitor, with a flat glass on top. How dumb -_- I can tell it's more than one layer of glass because I can see 3 reflections of myself in it. PHYSICS, MAN!
I got a new mobile too... Samsung X430. Not as fancy as Ray's E700, but I'm still happy with it. :) It has polytonic (or whatever it's called) ringtones, colour screen, and flip... but no camera. But I don't want a poor-quality camera anyway. From the E700 box I saw in Ray's car for like 10 secs, my phone and his look very similar. But Ray disagrees. *shrug* Everyone has Samsungs now it seems. Tuyen has the next model up from mine. With a camera. :)
Seem's like the flip phones are back - in the RACOON-HOLE CREW (YO~!!) atleast.
Adeline and I also bought each other some white gold rings. I think it's a bit annoying to wear... I'm not really the jewellery wearing type. But hopefully I'll grow into it and it'll become sentimental stuff :) Right now, I like playing around with it by pretending I'm Frodo Baggins of the Shire on a journey to Mount Doom! Hehe, sorry guys but I'm a geek - I have to say atleast a few lame things every time I post. Even Adeline wears her ring on a chain (which I also got her from Malaysia last year), because she still needs to get her's resized. But she won't admit that some of my wonderful traits has rubbed off onto her!!! :D
I have more to say, but I guess I'll need to save it for next time.
Chill out fags.

random thought
At work I go to the toilet quite abit ... because I drink water all day :p And I noticed that 4/5 times I go in there, the disabled stall is taken. So today I went in there to see why it's so good .. and wtf ? it's so weird ... the toilet is really high, I was really uncomfortable >_< No more high toilet for me !

super super speed !!
Posting this from my new cable ! :D So fast .. not used to it.
But anyway, do we have any readers?? Let's get this blog more popular, we are so quiet lately, I think noone reads? Or if they do, post some comments? :P Let's start advertising ..
Yep, just confirmed with Sherman today, I'm going to get E715 - it's like E700 but it has a flash. It's abit cheaper than E700, I have no idea why O_o
Back later !

postscript
Hello again :p
MSN is downloading some sort of update .... it's chugging my computer O_o So I'll write abit more misc stuff that I thought of.
Read somewhere about Matrix Revolutions - the reason that Smith explodes is because Neo is +ve, and he is -ve ... so it's cancellation !! Stupid, huh ? :P
Uhh ... I forgot what I was going to say >_< There was this funny place we ate at, it was dedicated to Deng Shao Ping (sp?) and it had all his favourite foods .... There was another one I wanted to eat at which was the same idea, but dedicated to Mao :) What a legend :p
Err ... oh ya, Cable coming tomorrow !!! I'm going to come home early from work and meet the installation guy... cross fingers everything is ok -_- Finally out of modem world :p

Hi all, just a quick post ..
Happy New Year ! :p
I just got home ... didn't have any net access there so I couldn't do any in the field updates :p Melb is alrite, didn't really do much except shopping ... wow, it's hard to type on a keyboard after so long away ;) I bought abit of stuff, not as much as I wanted to, I couldn't get alot of the stuff I wanted >_< Melbourne is still abit expensive though, but better than Perth I guess.
Played abit of DDR :P I found some songs that I like .. I'll play more now when I'm in Northbridge I think ... I think I got fitter being there, walking SO SO much ... every day I go for like 1 - 2 hr walk when everyone having nap, and then go play DDR :) Also I had to run a few times ... I should keep running here >_<
Went to Crown again today, the arcade kindof sucks ... they have alot of new games, but so expensive ?? I played DDR Extreme 2 (I think ??), usually I payed about $2, only $1 for the one in the gangster arcade, but at Crown it's like $2.80 and they hooked it up to this 3x3 matrix of TVs ... it makes it harder O_o This hardcore played with me and made me look bad, going Heavy to my Standard -_- In Perth I rarely see people play Heavy/Maniac :P I should have tried to keep up with him.... but I had some cargo pants on, I had my phone and wallet in the pants, so I couldn't pull the moves ;)
Girls in Melbourne .. hmmm .. there are ALOT of viet girls O_o Also alot of hoodrats ;) But yeah, on the whole the ratio of good:bad is much worse than here .. not sure why. But the nice ones were REALLY nice ... hmm O_o I wish I had my phone to take pictures :P
Sherman I hope you bought me E700 !!! :)
Hrmm, not sure what else to say .. this is ending up longer than I thought. Shopping rules :)
PEACE OUT !!! :)
